Service Writer (Service Manager Trainee Path)

We’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Service Writer who enjoys keeping the shop running smoothly and wants to grow into a Store Manager role. You’ll continue doing what you do best—helping customers and managing service—while receiving hands-on leadership training.

What You’ll Do:

Greet customers and write accurate repair orders
Communicate service recommendations clearly with technicians and customers
Prepare and present estimates
Order parts and tires for approved repairs
Schedule appointments and manage daily shop workflow
Deliver great customer service from check-in to vehicle pickup
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction

What You’ll Learn:

Shop operations, workflow, and staffing
Inventory control, labor margins, and vendor relations
Team coaching, hiring, and performance management
Leadership skills to run a high-performing team

What We’re Looking For:

Experience as a Service Writer/Advisor or similar role
Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
Interest in long-term growth in automotive service management
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license with a clean record
