Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their automotive service needs and ensuring a positive experience. You will leverage your expertise in automotive diagnostics and service writing to provide accurate recommendations and facilitate effective communication between customers and technicians.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs.
Provide detailed explanations of services required, including tire service, alignments, and other maintenance tasks.
Write service orders accurately, ensuring all necessary information is documented for technicians.
Handle cash transactions efficiently and maintain accurate records of payments.
Estimate costs for repairs and services, providing transparent pricing to customers.
Communicate effectively with technicians to transmit customer concerns and service requests.
Follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status and any additional services needed.
Maintain a clean and organized service area to enhance the customer experience.

Skills

Proficiency in automotive service writing with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics.
Experience in cash handling and managing financial transactions accurately.
Familiarity with auto estimating processes to provide precise quotes for services.
Ability to align customer needs with appropriate automotive services effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.
Knowledge of automotive sales techniques to promote additional services when appropriate.
Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.
