Duties

Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
Prepare accurate auto service estimates using auto estimating software, explaining repair procedures clearly and transparently
Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
Upsell additional maintenance or repair services by highlighting benefits aligned with customer needs while maintaining integrity
Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate records
Maintain detailed documentation of vehicle diagnostics, repairs performed, parts used, and customer interactions
Foster strong customer relationships through follow-up calls and ensuring their satisfaction with the service experience

Qualifications

Proven dealership experience or auto service management background with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, suspensions, brakes, tires, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and alignments
Experience in automotive repair or as a service technician is highly desirable
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers of all backgrounds
Proficiency in auto estimating software and sales techniques to effectively upsell services
Familiarity with automotive repair processes such as oil changes, tire services, auto body repairs, and mechanical diagnostics
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while providing professional service at all times
