Service Advisor Manager

Looking for an experienced Service Advisor Manager to lead our Service Department and maintain an orderly maintenance workflow. Responsible for ensuring repairs or other tasks are performed in a correct, cost effective, and timely manner. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Maintain high-quality service repairs by minimizing comebacks and accurately identifying parts needed for repairs and maintenance. Provide price estimates, and assist with ordering and tracking inventory. Responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that parts are delivered in a timely manner. Additionally, you will assist customers with inquiries, make recommendations for alternative parts, and provide guidance on proper installation and usage.

Manage the Service Department, including Service Advisors.
Oversee the scheduling of service appointments and ensure timely completion of all repairs.
Repair order creation; Open, update, and close work orders, including detailing customer complaints and translating them into technician instructions.
Calculate cost and time estimates for labor and parts, and obtain customer approval for repairs.
Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship in a effective and efficient manner.
Provide guidance and expertise with regard to technical knowledge to both staff and customers.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and accountability.
Coordinate customer work orders with technicians to ensure efficient workflow based on skill set.
Act as a liaison between customers and technicians, providing updates on repair progress.
Maintain accurate records of service history and customer information.
Assist in resolving any warranty issues or disputes.
Maintain accurate inventory records and track parts orders, ensuring that all parts are accounted for as well as all cores returned within vendor guidelines.
Coordinate with suppliers to keep updated on product availability, pricing, and promotions.
Must have working knowledge of maintenance, ideally diesel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
