Mississippi Truck & Trailer Repair is a growing, well-established heavy-duty truck and trailer repair operation serving the Quad Cities and surrounding region. Our Body Shop plays a critical role in delivering high-quality repairs, fast turnaround times, and a professional customer experience.

We are looking for a Body Shop Manager who can own the department — someone who leads from the front, holds high standards, and keeps work flowing efficiently from estimate to delivery.

Position Overview

The Body Shop Manager is responsible for the daily operation, performance, and profitability of the body shop. This role oversees technicians, schedules work, communicates with customers and insurance partners, and ensures repairs are completed safely, on time, and to company standards.

This is a leadership role, not a desk-only position. The right candidate is organized, decisive, and comfortable holding people accountable.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily workflow and scheduling of body shop repairs
Lead, train, and supervise body shop technicians
Review estimates, supplements, and repair plans for accuracy
Coordinate with vendors, and insurance companies
Ensure repairs meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
Track productivity, efficiency, and rework/comebacks
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
Communicate clearly with customers regarding timelines and expectations
Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety rules
Monitor labor hours, materials, and job profitability

Qualifications & Experience

3+ years of body shop or collision repair leadership experience (preferred)
Strong knowledge of body repair processes, materials, and equipment
Ability to read and understand estimates and repair documentation
Proven experience managing people and shop workflow
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable using shop management or estimating software
Valid driver’s license
Heavy-duty truck or trailer experience is a plus, but not required

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
