Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable F&I Manager specializing in powersports to lead our finance and insurance operations. This energetic role is vital in delivering exceptional customer experiences by guiding clients through the financing process, structuring deals, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. As an F&I Manager, you will play a key role in maximizing dealership profitability while maintaining transparency and integrity in all transactions. Your expertise will help customers secure the best financial solutions for their powersports purchases, fostering trust and loyalty.

Duties

Manage the entire F&I process for powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, boats, and other recreational equipment
Present and explain various finance, lease, and insurance options to customers clearly and confidently
Structure deals by analyzing credit reports, calculating payments, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and industry-specific laws
Conduct credit analysis to determine customer eligibility for financing programs while maintaining adherence to credit policies
Upsell additional products such as extended warranties, service contracts, GAP insurance, and other ancillary offerings to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
Process all loan applications accurately using financial software like CDK or similar platforms; ensure timely submission to lenders
Negotiate terms with lenders and customers to secure favorable financing options while adhering to dealership policies and regulatory standards
Maintain thorough documentation of all transactions, including contracts, titles, and compliance paperwork such as TILA disclosures
Collaborate with sales teams to facilitate smooth deal closures and ensure customer needs are met with professionalism and transparency
Stay updated on automotive sales industry regulations, financial compliance standards, and changes in lending practices affecting powersports financing

Skills

Proven experience in automotive or powersports dealership finance departments with a focus on loan processing and client communication
Strong understanding of financial services, including credit analysis, deal structuring, and regulatory compliance (TILA, Title processing)
Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity
Familiarity with dealership management systems such as CDK or equivalent financial software platforms
Knowledge of automotive sales industry regulations and legal requirements for financing transactions
Exceptional customer relationship management skills to build trust and foster long-term client loyalty
Proficiency in basic math skills including 10-key typing for accurate data entry and calculations
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to customers of diverse backgrounds
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple deals simultaneously while ensuring accuracy in all documentation
Commitment to ethical practices aligned with industry standards for financial regulatory compliance
