Who Are We?
Cargo Trailer Sales is a tight-knit company with close ties to the surrounding community. We’re a small, family owned and operated business in Lansdale and we've been operating for over 35 years. We love to help our guests get out on the road, happy and safe. There are about fourteen of us now, but we’d like to add a few more friendly faces!
What do we do?
We are a specialty equipment dealership that sells and services specialty transportation products. This includes trailers, snowplows, truck beds, and other specialty items. The service department help support all the cool stuff we sell.
Who are you?
You are motivated to help others. You have some experience with skilled trades such as carpentry, contracting / renovation, automotive repairs, or other skilled trades with an attention to detail. You may or may not have much mechanical knowledge, but you are willing to learn! You own your own basic tool set. You have a good sense of humor and like to have fun. You like a brisk work pace and enjoy variation in your duties and tasks. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do what needs to get done. You are honest and tend to smile a lot more than you frown (or scowl).

· You love working weekends - Sorry, we are open M-F and believe in a healthy work-life balance – but we do offer overtime to fully trained employees if you want to make some extra scratch by working on a Saturday here and there, staying late, or coming in early.

What kind of stuff will I be doing?
Technicians are the “engine” of our service department. On a typical day you might be welding up some new fenders on a customer’s trailer, doing state safety inspections, installing a hitch and wiring kit on a vehicle, upfitting a truck for a new snowplow, installing a truck flatbed, or re-skinning damaged exterior body panels. The scope of work has a great variation, and don’t worry…. we provide training if you’ve never done a lot of these things. You’ll be using all sorts of tools, from a sledgehammer to a diagnostic fault-code reader. You won’t be standing around, as our work schedule commands a brisk pace.
