Salary: $50k-$120k

Thielen Motors is searching for an experienced Sales Manager. The primary purpose of the Sales Manager is to oversee, train and direct a team of sales consultants with a goal of meeting daily performance metrics and maximum return on opportunity for the dealership. This individual must effectively manage sales personnel and have a strong knowledge of the automotive market.

Responsibilities

Recruit and train high quality salespeople that are motivated, trained and available to the customers
Work directly with customers and employees to create long-term relationships and enhance the car-buying experience
Set goals with sales team members which meet their individual skill levels
Manage trade-ins, sales and delivery of new and used vehicles
Work with General Manager to develop goals
Maintain superior product knowledge to effectively help customers
Create a positive sales culture

Requirements

The ability to quickly build rapport and trust
Drive to achieve targeted goals
The ability to resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and efficiently
Professional appearance and attitude
Must stay current and comply with federal, state and local regulations
At least 5 years of previous retail management experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Must possess valid in-state driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record
