Roughneck Harley-Davidson is in Longview, in the heart of the Piney Woods of Northeast Texas. There are endless backroads that wind through the rolling hills surrounded by pine trees.
As our Sales Manager, you will be a driving force behind our sales department's success. Your key duties will include:
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, coach and motivate a team of Fit Specialists to exceed sales goals through continuous development.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to increase motorcycle sales and profitability for both new and pre-owned Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Strong focus on exceeding Retail Target and maximizing profitability.
- Inventory Management: Manage new and pre-owned motorcycle inventory, including trade-in appraisals, desking deals, wholesale processes, and pricing.
- Deal Structuring: Work directly with customers and the sales team to structure and finalize sales deals, ensuring a smooth and positive process.
- F&I Collaboration: Partner with the Finance & Insurance (F&I) department to maximize profitability and ensure a seamless customer hand-off.
- Customer Experience: An exceptional customer experience is what we strive for. It starts from first contact all the way through delivery and beyond. We build long lasting relationships that grow our Harley-Davidson family, our business and community.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze sales data and performance metrics (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and celebrate team successes. Familiarity with transactional based KPIs is important.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager, preferably in a Harley-Davidson dealership.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a successful sales team.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of dealership operations, P&L, and inventory control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- A genuine passion for the Harley-Davidson brand and the riding lifestyle.
- High energy, unwavering integrity, and a results-driven mindset.
- A valid Motorcycle License is required and must be insurable.
