We are a fast-growing GM dealership in Northern Indiana looking for a leader to help drive our Parts Department forward. This is a hands-on role where you will support the Parts Manager, mentor the staff, and ensure our Service and Sales teams get what they need, when they need it.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead & Mentor: Assist in managing the daily operations of the parts department, providing coaching and motivation to the team.
- Drive Performance: Monitor inventory levels, analyze sales reports, and ensure key financial metrics are hit.
- Hands-On Support: This isn't a desk job. You will be active on the counter, handling procurement, and solving problems for technicians and retail customers.
- Process Improvement: Ensure departmental procedures are followed and help streamline operations for efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous automotive dealership parts experience is required. GM (General Motors) experience is highly preferred.
- Leadership Potential: You have a track record of reliability and the ability to motivate those around you.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with DMS systems and comfortable navigating electronic parts catalogs.
- Resilience: You can prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment without losing your cool.
