Lewis Auto Group is hiring a Service Shop Porter / Automotive Porter to support daily operations inside our high-volume service department. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in the automotive industry.

The Service Porter / Lot Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining vehicle flow, dealership organization, and service department efficiency. You will help move vehicles, maintain shop cleanliness, assist technicians and service advisors, and ensure a safe and professional customer experience.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced position ideal for dependable individuals with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Safely move vehicles between service drive, service bays, parking lot, and wash area
Support vehicle check-in and customer vehicle delivery
Maintain cleanliness of the service shop, service lanes, and customer waiting areas
Wash, vacuum, and prepare customer vehicles
Fuel vehicles and assist with jump-starts as needed
Install protective seat covers and floor mats
Assist technicians with non-mechanical support tasks
Park and secure vehicles properly
Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
Perform additional duties as assigned
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Ability to drive manual transmission preferred
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Strong attention to safety and detail
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous automotive, dealership, porter, or service department experience is a plus — but not required
