We are seeking an Auto body Estimator to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of technicians. This job requires interaction with insurance companies, body shop employees and customers. NON DRP EXPERIENCE is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Write solid, correct and complete estimates that meet insurance and customer standards
- Over-see repairs all the way through from writing estimate, ordering parts, supervising repairs and delivering quality repairs
- Coordinate the daily activities of the team
- Delegate repair assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
- Excellent quality control on repairs and deliver completed repairs to satisfied customers
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years collision repair estimating experience
- Proficiency using insurance driven estimating and management system, CCC One, Mitchell etc.
- Must have a good understanding and working relationship with DRPs
- Prior knowledge and experience with good automotive repair SOPs and enforce them to coordinate a seamless and effective workflow in shop
- Needs to be a quick learner, highly motivated, focused & career-minded individual
- Knowledge of autobody shop tools and equipment
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent work attendance
- Superb people management skills
- Must be able to transition shop to adhere to new automotive repair technology and insurance/estimating and management systems
- I-Car certification a plus
