B&B Truck & Trailer is the areas largest provider of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts and repair services. We have two locations with a full-service shop handling everything from basic services to full engine rebuilds.
We have an immediate opening for a Service Advisor. This position will assist with service-related components of our business coordinating and assigning repair/service orders, communicating with customers, and calling on customers for service reminders. The ideal applicant has several years of experience working with commercial trucks. Strong customer service and communication skills are critical.
Requirements:
- Analyze, manage, schedule service and repair work for heavy-duty trucks & trailers.
- Communicate with customers to keep them updated on repairs.
- Reach out to customers for service reminders.
- Field incoming calls for repair & service requests, both in-shop and roadside.
- Communicate easily with all employees, clearly and effectively striving for employee cooperation within all company divisions.
- Monitor daily reports.
- Deliver exceptional customer service for all our parts business.
Qualifications
- Automotive experience, preferably heavy-duty trucks & trailers.
- Proficient in using computer systems to manage workflow.
- Highly organized with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Product knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
