A well-established tire and automotive service organization is recruiting for an Operations & Service Manager to lead commercial fleet and tire operations in the South Puget Sound market. This leadership role oversees store operations, mobile service fleet management, technician supervision, DOT compliance, dispatch, and commercial sales growth.
The Operations, Fleet, & Service Manager is responsible for the daily management of a commercial tire store and mobile fleet service operation. This role supervises 8–10 commercial tire technicians, manages dispatch and scheduling, oversees 24/7 roadside service operations, and drives profitability, labor efficiency, and customer retention.
The Basics:
· Manage daily operations, tire, and fleet service
· Supervise, recruit, train, and retain 8–10 technicians
· Oversee dispatch, scheduling, and mobile service fleet utilization
· Ensure full DOT compliance and safety protocol enforcement
· Drive commercial growth in partnership with sales and operational leadership
· Manage P&L performance, budgeting, labor costs, and profitability targets
· Oversee 24/7 roadside assistance and on-call technician scheduling
· Maintain fleet vehicles including safety, maintenance, and readiness
· Build relationships with local businesses, unions, municipalities, and fleet accounts
· Ensure high customer service standards for all customers
Your Background:
· 5+ years of management experience in tire, fleet service, automotive repair, or mechanical operations
· Experience managing field technicians and shop teams in a commercial environment
· Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety-sensitive operations
· Proven experience managing financial performance, KPIs, and budget accountability
· Experience with dispatch systems and fleet management
· Valid driver’s license required
The Fine Print:
· Ability to lift 40 lbs.
· Regular standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and working outdoors
· Exposure to weather, moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, and elevated noise levels
· Successful completion of background check and pre-employment drug screening required
This position is classified as DOT safety-sensitive.

· Competitive base salary: $100,000 – $125,000 (DOE)
