Duties

- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, order fulfillment, and ensure accurate stock levels using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and POS (Point of Sale) software.
- Oversee sales management strategies, including retail sales techniques, upselling, and promotional marketing efforts to maximize revenue.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance assessments to assist customers with parts selection and automotive repair needs.
- Handle cash handling procedures, cashiering responsibilities, and maintain accurate financial records with retail math skills.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies by stocking shelves properly and organizing displays to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain excellent communication skills with customers, suppliers, and team members through phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to automotive service and store maintenance while managing maintenance schedules for store equipment.
- Utilize organizational skills to coordinate order fulfillment, manage dealership relationships, and oversee daily store operations efficiently.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair processes.
- Proven sales management experience with a focus on retail sales, inventory management, and marketing strategies.
- Excellent negotiation skills to build relationships with suppliers and customers alike.
- Experience with inventory control techniques including stocking procedures and order fulfillment processes.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective communication skills to handle inquiries professionally via phone or in person.
- Knowledge of dealership operations or experience within automotive service centers is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately for pricing, discounts, and profit margins.
