Overview
Our client, a worldwide OEM is looking to add a Post Production Detailer, whose skills and attention to detail will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our products. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced factory environment, utilizing your expertise with hand tools, power tools, and vehicle detailing equipment. As a key member of our production process, you will be responsible for meticulously finishing and refining products after assembly, ensuring they meet all quality specifications before they reach customers.
Duties
- Perform detailed finishing and touch-up work on products using hand tools and power tools to ensure flawless appearance and functionality
- Inspect finished items for defects, inconsistencies, or imperfections, adhering to strict quality standards
- Assist with assembly line tasks as needed to support continuous production flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in product detailing
- Complete documentation related to product inspections and finishing processes accurately and promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience with automotive detailing, paint preparation, paint corrections and waxing/ceramic coating.
- Experience with detailing equipment such as machine polishing (rotary buffer/dual action polishers), clay bar decontamination and multi-stage washing.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks throughout shifts

Pay: $30.36 - $38.13 per hour
