Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Body Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Collision Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle collision estimating and repair, along with excellent leadership skills to manage a team of technicians. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure high-quality service delivery while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily shop activities, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Manage inventory levels of paint and materials supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Oversee the scheduling of appointments and body technician assignments to optimize workflow.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the shop environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed by technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of collision repairs performed and customer interactions.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and high-quality workmanship.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in CCC one estimating system
- Strong knowledge of vehicle collision repair standards, including auto body repair, auto painting, and auto glass replacement.
- Experience working in a Collision repair facility or a similar automotive service environment is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- A background as a collision center manager or estimator in a fast paced repair environment is highly desirable.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
