Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team at a busy dealership. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring that all vehicle maintenance and repairs are performed in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service advising/sales and a passion for delivering top-notch service.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a positive experience from the moment they enter the dealership
- Conduct a thorough vehicle inspection to identify any needed maintenance or repairs
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers to ensure that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded
- Assist with the diagnosis and repair of vehicles, including tire service and oil changes
- Utilize automotive service management software to manage and track vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Manage and maintain a clean and organized service area
- Upsell and promote additional services to customers, such as vehicle maintenance packages
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an automotive service advisor role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Experience with automotive service management software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Physical stamina to lift and move equipment and tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with tire service and oil changes
- Strong knowledge of automotive sales and upselling techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a dealership environment
- Experience with vehicle maintenance and repair packages
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $71,000.00 per year
Shift:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Work Days:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
