The Automotive Parts Manager creates lifetime customers by delivering an unsurpassed customer experience. This person needs to be able to navigate and direct the department to maintain and reach new heights in employee / customer satisfaction and profitability. Responsibilities:
Ensure the parts department operates under safe conditions according to established policies and procedures and in compliance with federal, state, and other mandated regulations.
Run an efficient and profitable department.
Provide high quality service to guests and coworkers.
Maintain good working relations with factories.
Complete daily factory replenishment orders.
Source parts from 3rd party sources as needed.
Lead department activities to keep customers coming back.
Hire, train and manage department associates.
Setting a clear vision for the Department.
Building solid relationships with all departments.
Maintain employee performance standards.
Manage parts department personnel payroll and time off.
Your Qualifications:
Excellent organization skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proven record of success in parts management.
2-3 years Automotive experience.
Strong understanding of vehicle repairs.
Ability to lead a team to top-level performance.
Ability to evaluate CSI indexes and develop processes
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and have a clean motor vehicle report.
