East Hills Chevrolet of Douglaston, part of the family owned and operated East Hills Auto Group since 1975, seeks a world-class Service Director. The ideal candidate will be able to manage employees, set goals, control costs and ensure customer satisfaction.
A minimum of 5 years as Service Manager is required. General Motors experience is not required but is a BIG PLUS.
Your responsibilities would include:
· Hire, train and motivate service employees.
· Prepare and administer operating departmental budgets while controlling operating costs.
· Establish and maintain world-class customer relationships for repeat and referral business.
· Manage scheduling, repair workflows, loaner fleet and customer interactions.
· Optimize parts inventory to ensure attainment of sales.
· Understand and comply with relevant regulations, including OSHA and hazardous waste disposal.
· Maintain reporting systems and monitor performance metrics.
Compensation:
Earning potential $200,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience, track record and performance
