We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers’ vehicle service needs. Your enthusiasm and automotive knowledge will help guide clients through their service experience, recommend necessary repairs, and ensure their satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair procedures and estimates clearly, ensuring customers understand their options
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and communicate timelines effectively
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle diagnostics and customer needs
- Write detailed service orders, accurately documenting all work performed and parts used
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, providing updates on vehicle status and resolving issues promptly
- Manage cash handling and payment processing efficiently while maintaining accuracy
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or automotive service management background
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and mechanical systems such as transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and oil changes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Experience in auto estimating, service writing, and auto body repair is highly desirable
- Familiarity with upselling techniques and sales processes within an automotive setting
- Mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, alignments, shocks & struts, tire services, and other automotive repairs
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records
- Prior experience working with mechanic teams or in auto service management roles is preferred

Pay: $68,189.53 - $82,120.73 per year
