Our firm has teamed up with a reputable heavy equipment dealer seeking to add a General/Service Manager to their branch in Redding, California! The General Manager will be responsible for the overall performance, growth, and profitability of the dealership branch, overseeing all departments — Parts, Service, and Truck Sales.
**This role will also be in charge of overseeing the entirety of the Service Department and thus must come with relevant Service Management experience**
The General Manager will ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and talent development in alignment with the company’s mission, values, and strategic priorities. The GM serves as the primary business leader for the dealership branch: setting direction, driving accountability, and fostering a culture of collaboration and execution.

Compensation: Up to $140k Base Salary + Bonus (Depending on Experience)

Position Responsibilities Include:
- Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share across all business segments
- Operational Management: Oversee daily dealership operations across Parts, Service, and Truck Sales to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage the dealership’s P&L, including revenue, cost control, and net operating income. Drive profitability.
- Customer Focus & Market Growth: Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and loyalty across all departments. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and OEM partners.
- People & Performance: Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing department leaders and staff. Foster a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in the heavy truck, automotive, or related heavy equipment industry.
- Proven track record of successful P&L management and multi-departmental leadership.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret and act on complex data.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and people development skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Pay: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
