Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of finance and sales activities, including loan processing, credit analysis, and contract negotiations.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase dealership revenue through upselling and customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, understanding their needs, and offering tailored financial solutions.
- Conduct thorough credit evaluations and ensure compliance with TILA regulations during loan approval processes.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling additional products or services to maximize deal value.
- Utilize financial software to process loans, title work, and other dealership transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Lead negotiations with customers on pricing, financing terms, and contract details to close deals successfully.
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including deal documentation, credit reports, and loan agreements.
- Ensure adherence to dealership policies related to loan officer responsibilities, title processing, and legal compliance.
- Provide ongoing training to team members on sales techniques, customer service excellence, and industry regulations such as TILA.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive finance management or a similar role within the financial services or dealership industry.
- Strong background in credit analysis, contract negotiation, and deal closing.
- Familiarity with automotive sales processes and dealership operations.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on delivering outstanding service.
- Proficiency in financial software applications used for loan processing, credit analysis, and title work.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately using 10 key typing skills.
- Knowledge of TILA regulations and legal requirements related to auto financing.
- Experience in upselling additional products or services to enhance customer value.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with effective communication abilities.
