The Business Development Manager supervises a small team of Business Development Agents, and along with them receives inbound calls as well as makes outbound calls with the purpose of helping people recognize we can help them improve their transportation means. The Business Development Manager must be able to have good intuition on the phone and quickly establish rapport so the customer agrees to come to see our inventory. The manager also helps others develop such intuition. We need a manager that can help agents who can be told "no" consistently not lose their persistence or self-confidence.
A typical day in the life of a Business Development Manager includes an ongoing call after call day while supporting the Business Development agents who are doing the same thing. There are daily and bi-monthly goals that come with additional compensation.
