Duties
- Engage with prospective customers through outbound calls, cold calling, and in-person interactions to generate new leads and expand the sales pipeline.
- Demonstrate vehicles’ features and benefits confidently, providing detailed information to assist customers in making informed decisions.
- Negotiate pricing, financing options, and trade-in values to close deals that benefit both the customer and the dealership.
- Manage inventory effectively by coordinating with the sales support team and utilizing CRM software to track customer interactions and follow-ups.
- Upsell additional products such as warranties, service packages, and accessories to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to ensure professional interactions with customers at all touchpoints.
- Support marketing initiatives by participating in promotional events, public speaking engagements, and community outreach to attract new clients.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B (business-to-business) sales, or retail sales within the automotive industry or related fields.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-end or high-value deals confidently.
- Familiarity with CRM software for managing customer data and sales pipelines efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle inventory management, retail math, and inventory control accurately.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse customer bases.
- Experience in dealership environments or automotive sales is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key!
