LandMark Implement, Inc. is a progressive John Deere Dealership with multiple locations across south central and north central regions. We specialize in selling large agricultural equipment, along with providing parts and comprehensive service to support our customers’ farming operations. Purpose:
Assist the service managers in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the service department’s operation within the dealership.
Responsibilities:
o Fields internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department
o Opens repair orders as directed by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman and maintains control until they are closed and invoiced
o Generates repair order previews for the service administrator and service managers
o Maintains the service library with current information (for example, files, bulletins, manuals, multi-media, etc.) under the direct supervision of the Service Manager
o Maintains Service Department filing and records
o Updates customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders
o Maintains accessories and supplies and prepares replacement orders
o May prepare Service Technician efficiency reports
o Manages communication between Service Managers and Service Administrator
o Maintains special tool inventory lists
o May manage attendance reports and make corrections accordingly; submit to the HR Manager for payroll
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
o Basic knowledge of accounting practices
o Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
o Knowledge of office procedures
o General understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred
o 4 year degree or equivalent experience
Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
