Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services, ensuring a seamless experience from intake to vehicle delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, automotive knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their vehicle service needs.
- Explain recommended services and repairs, utilizing automotive diagnostics and service writing skills.
- Prepare accurate auto estimates for repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension, tire services, diesel engine repairs, and more.
- Upsell additional services and maintenance based on customer needs and vehicle requirements.
- Coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion of services.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of service orders, customer interactions, and vehicle history.
- Follow up with customers regarding service progress and satisfaction.
- Assist in managing parts inventory and ordering as needed.
- Promote excellent customer service to foster long-term relationships and repeat business.
Qualifications
- Auto service management background preferred.
- Automotive knowledge preferred.
- Ability to perform auto estimating and service writing accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
- Sales experience with a focus on upselling automotive services and automobile sales is advantageous.
- Familiarity with auto repair processes including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, suspension work, and brake repairs.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
