Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and reliable Automotive Detailer/Lot Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, refurbishing, and maintaining vehicles to a high standard of appearance—ensuring each car looks showroom-ready. This role is vital to maintaining customer satisfaction and the professional image of our dealership/service center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interior and exterior detailing of vehicles including vacuuming, shampooing, waxing, polishing, and steam cleaning
- Clean and treat upholstery, carpets, and other surfaces to remove stains and odors
- Wash and dry vehicle exteriors by hand or with automated equipment
- Apply protective finishes and detailing products such as sealants and conditioners
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing bay and supplies
- Notify supervisor of any damage or concerns regarding the vehicle
- Assist with vehicle movement around the lot as needed (valid driver’s license required)
- Follow all safety and environmental regulations when using chemicals and equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in automotive detailing or a related field is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for cars
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours as needed
Working Conditions:
- Primarily works in a garage or outdoor setting
- Exposure to various weather conditions and cleaning chemicals
- Use of protective gear such as gloves, goggles, or masks may be required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
