Automotive Service Writer - Part-Time
$20/hr - $23/hr + Commissions

The Job:
We will train a part-time Service Writer to complement in Fairplay, CO. Our auto shop was voted by Park County as People's Choice and we are the most highly regarded tire and auto repair store in the area. We have been serving customers for over 50 years. Utopia Tire & Auto Repair is located in the heart of Ski Country, so we serve both locals and tourists from all over the world.

Minimum Requirements:
· You know how to care for customers in need of new tires, auto repair. You've done a similar job in this industry in your career.
· You are comfortable engaging with customers via phone, online and in-person at our shop.
· Basic computer experience is necessary - typing, email, learning our POS, etc.
· People skills! You MUST love working with people and provide exceptional customer service.
· You are a skilled multi-tasker with attention to detail.
· Valid Driver’s License or State ID. Proof of citizenship is required
Daily Work:
- Greet Customers (either in person or incoming phone calls) and place work orders for tire repairs, auto repairs or new tires;
- Create repair orders and schedule service;
- Achieve thorough knowledge of tire products, warranties, and services;
- Assist other team members as necessary without being asked;
- Maintain showroom merchandise and cleanliness;
- Assist in inventory delivery from parts and tire vendors;
- Deliver superior customer experience to build loyalty to our brand;
- This is a Service Advisor role, not a classic 'sales' job; you are simply explaining to customers what's going on with their vehicle/tires and the cost of the repair.
Schedule:
- 3 days/week (Monday+ Friday and Thursday OR Wednesday)
- Peak season (Sept - Nov) requires some overtime
Pay = base salary + monthly commissions.
- $20/hr - $23/hr+ Commission; depending on experience

· Employees can purchase parts, tires, and auto repairs at Cost after 90 days of employment
