Duties
- Manage daily service department operations, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and quality control to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of service technicians and advisors to deliver outstanding automotive repair services
- Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
- Ensure accurate auto estimating and service writing to provide transparent pricing and clear communication with customers
- Drive upselling initiatives by identifying additional vehicle services that meet customer needs while enhancing department revenue
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and automotive industry regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage service department financials effectively
Requirements
- Proven experience in dealership or automotive service management with a strong background in auto service operations
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair techniques including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, alignments, suspension components, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair
- Hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive repair processes is highly desirable
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Strong sales acumen with experience in auto estimating and upselling additional services
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications preferred (e.g., ASE certifications)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
