Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive profitability through effective management of our skilled technicians and service processes. Your leadership will help maintain our reputation for quality automotive repair and outstanding client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operation of the service department, including workflow, staffing, and customer interactions
- Supervise and support service technicians, ensuring high-quality automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures
- Promote upselling and vehicle maintenance packages to maximize revenue while meeting customer needs
- Perform service writing, and ensure accurate documentation of repair orders
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues effectively
- Monitor department performance metrics to improve efficiency and profitability
Qualifications
- Dealership experience with a background in auto service management preferred
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
- Mechanical knowledge preferred
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
