General Responsibilities:
- Moves vehicles as directed. parks vehicle an orderly manner.
- Performs service valet function when needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet service client at service drive, park vehicle in appropriate location, note parking space number and return key immediately to the appropriate service drive attendant.
- Keeps in-stock vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving vehicles as directed and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles to clients as directed by management.
- Ensure that required stickers/forms have been completed and are properly displayed.
- Compare serial numbers of incoming vehicles against invoices.
- Park new vehicles in assigned areas. Catalog and store keys in assigned area.
- Move sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.
- Drive customers to their requested destinations and pick them up when needed.
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the service drive, parking area and any client contact area by following good housekeeping procedures.
- Use good judgment and safe driving skills.
- Help maintain the Dealership in a presentable manner. Help keep all areas clean, organized, and professional looking at all times.
- Report to Supervisor or Fixed Operations Director any suspicious items in customers vehicle or loaner vehicle before removing such item
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Educational: High school diploma or the equivalent.
Experience: None.
Special Skills (i.e., licenses, certifications, etc.): Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Ability to use personal computer applications. General mechanical skills and manual dexterity. Good judgment. Current valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and handle tools. Requires the ability to lift 40 pounds of material. Frequently works near moving mechanical parts. Is potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle repair facility. Frequently, exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
