Job Description:

Cannon Auto Repair is a busy shop looking for an experienced Technician! We are a family owned and operated auto repair shop that has been in business since 1989. We are looking for a full-time auto technician to add you to our talented team of ASE certified technicians. If you have a positive attitude, growth mindset and have at least 3 years of on-the-job experience in the independent or dealership world, we would love to add you to our team!

We are a general repair shop for most makes and models of cars and light trucks. As an Automotive Technician at Cannon Auto Repair, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

All Maintenance work such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake work, suspension, alignments, etc.

Examine vehicle and discuss with service writer/service manager the nature and extent of any damage or malfunction. Provide recommendations for repair, parts list needed to perform recommended repairs and hours required to perform the repairs using industry standard labor guides. Provide list of all items needing attention, whether maintenance, safety or other.

Perform a thorough Digital Vehicle Inspection on all vehicles.

Insure all under-car, under-hood and preventive maintenance inspections and reports are complete and accurate.

Raise vehicle with hydraulic jack or lift, to gain access to mechanical units bolted to underside of vehicle, using proper equipment and safety procedures.

Hours of operation are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday - Friday (No Weekends). Paid holidays and vacation as well. Shop is air conditioned, heated, clean, and well lit.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
