We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department at our Chevrolet store in Palatine. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of automotive service quality. As the Chevrolet Service Manager, you will be the leader of a service department experiencing significant growth, with ample opportunities for growth and development in the store and group.

Service Manager Responsibilities:

Dispatching and managing workflow for a team of technicians
Leading a strong service advisor team to serve our customers and our team
Training and holding accountable the entire team to give customers an outstanding service experience
Courtesy Transportation vehicles and process
Warranty processing and managing a clean work in process
Lead reconditioning used vehicles (in tandem with our used vehicle manager)
Parts availability (in tandem with parts manager)
Shop efficiency, condition, and cleanliness

Service Manager Qualifications:

5+ years in retail automotive service business
Tekion experience a plus
Experience with import brands is a plus
Ability to lead and teach our growing team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
