We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department with energy and expertise. Duties

Lead and motivate the service department team, including technicians, service writers, and support staff, to achieve high performance standards
Oversee all aspects of automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services such as transmissions, brakes, suspensions, alignments, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts
Manage daily shop operations including workflow scheduling, parts ordering, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols
Drive customer satisfaction by providing transparent service writing, accurate auto estimating, and effective communication throughout the repair process
Implement upselling strategies by recommending additional services like oil changes or vehicle maintenance packages to enhance customer value
Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining detailed records of service orders and payments
Monitor inventory levels for parts and tools necessary for efficient vehicle repairs
Ensure compliance with dealership policies and automotive industry standards

Experience

Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management is essential
Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures across various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspension, and diesel engines
Hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with service technician roles enhances leadership capabilities
Demonstrated success in upselling services and automobile sales to meet revenue targets
Proficiency in auto estimating software and service writing practices is highly desirable
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills ensures a positive client experience
Experience handling cash transactions accurately and managing inventory effectively is preferred
