Responsibilities and Duties·

Identify, diagnose and perform the most technical automotive repairs
Manage and maintain work environment safety, perform inspections, and ensure adherence to regulations.
Train and mentor new and existing technicians, leading by example.
Coordinate work among technicians and perform vehicle inspections and repairs.
Routinely advises, consults and helps subordinates
Responsible for equipment repair schedules and records, including meeting any deadlines or requests by other employees.
Responsible for purchasing any necessary parts to complete repairs.

Qualifications

At least three (5) years of experience in a shop environment
Must have a technical understanding with attention to detail
Demonstrate dependability, thoroughness and excellent verbal communication skills
Prefer an education or training in Diesel Mechanics
Experience with state inspections, PM services, electrical wiring installation and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
CDL Class A & Inspection license is preferred but not required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with employees, vendors and clients.
Ability to successfully perform in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
Ability to quickly make decisions that will have considerable impact on the organization.

Hours

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 6:00pm
Saturdays 7:00am - 1:00pm as needed
