About the Role
We're opening a new manufactured home dealership in the Charleston, SC area and are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead it from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to build a sales team, shape day-to-day operations, and run the location as if it were your own business — with full ownership over the lot's performance, staff, and customer experience.

What You'll Do

Oversee all daily operations of the dealership, including sales, inventory, lot presentation, and customer service
Recruit, hire, train, and manage a sales team
Develop and execute sales strategies to hit monthly and annual volume/profit targets
Manage inventory ordering, floor planning, and vendor/manufacturer relationships
Oversee financing submissions and work with lenders to get deals approved and closed
Ensure compliance with SC manufactured housing regulations, licensing requirements, and all state/local laws
Handle P&L responsibility for the location — budgeting, expense control, and reporting
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including handling escalated issues
Coordinate delivery, setup, and after-sale service with installation crews and subcontractors
Maintain a clean, well-organized, and appealing sales lot

What We're Looking For

Previous management experience in manufactured/mobile home sales, RV sales, auto sales, or a similar big-ticket retail environment
Strong sales leadership skills with a track record of hitting targets
Working knowledge of retail installment contracts, financing/lending processes, and dealer compliance (SC LLR dealer licensing required)
Excellent communication and team-building skills
Ability to manage budgets and read P&L statements
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
High school diploma required; college degree preferred but not required with relevant experience

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
