2+ Years of Motorcycle Shop Experience Required

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and positive individual to join our team as a Motorcycle Shop Assistant Service Manager / Service Writer.

This is a customer-facing position that plays an important role in keeping our service department running smoothly. You will be responsible for communicating detailed information between customers and technicians, understanding customer concerns, and confidently explaining both required and recommended services.

As part of our team, our Service Writers are also cross-trained in our Parts Department. You will learn our parts counter operations, including parts identification, ordering, customer assistance, and working closely with the Parts Department to help keep the service department operating efficiently.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document service needs
Communicate customer concerns and service requirements to technicians
Explain recommended and required repairs and maintenance to customers
Prepare estimates, work orders, and communicate service updates
Maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
Coordinate with technicians and other departments to keep work moving efficiently
Become knowledgeable in our Parts Department and learn to assist customers at the parts counter
Learn parts identification, ordering, and inventory procedures
Work closely with Parts and Service to ensure technicians have the parts they need
Use computers and dealership/service-management software
Help maintain a positive, organized, and productive service department
Assist the Service Manager with daily operations and other responsibilities as needed

What We're Looking For

2+ years of motorcycle shop experience required
Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, Assistant Service Manager, or similar position preferred
Strong understanding of motorcycles; knowledge of ATVs and SXSs is a plus
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Confident discussing mechanical repairs and maintenance with customers
Comfortable using computers and learning new software
Willingness to learn both Service and Parts Department operations
Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a busy environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
A team player who enjoys working in a fun, fast-paced environment

Schedule

Full-Time Year-Round, Full-Time Spring/Summer, and Part-Time positions available.

Required availability:

Tuesday–Friday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Compensation & Advancement

Pay is dependent on experience.
