We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department with enthusiasm and expertise. Responsibilities

Lead and manage the entire service department, including technicians, service advisors, and support staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, auto body repairs, air brake systems, and auto estimating
Ensure all work meets quality standards while adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer specifications
Drive sales through effective upselling of additional services and vehicle accessories while maintaining transparency with customers
Manage customer interactions by providing exceptional service writing, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring complete satisfaction
Monitor department performance metrics including productivity, profitability, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of all service activities

Qualifications

Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management
Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including transmissions, brakes, suspension, tires, oil changes, auto body repair, air brake systems, alignment services, shocks & struts, diesel engines
Hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive repair processes is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability in auto estimating software and service writing practices
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships
Strong sales acumen with experience in upselling vehicle services and automobile sales
Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Valid knowledge of cash handling procedures and inventory management
