Sales Manager/Finance – Kia

We’re looking for a Sales Manager who leads from the front — signing deals, managing F&I, coaching the team, and making sure no opportunity slips through the cracks.
At Kia of Warrenton, we’re not a big-box, high-churn store. We’re a tight-knit dealership with strong new inventory, grosses that hold, and access to two used stores for additional sales opportunities. With Tekion, we’re set up for fully digital and remote sales. This is a highly impactful role where your leadership directly drives results, culture, and profitability.
What You’ll Do
- Sign deals and manage F&I to maximize both front-end and back-end profit.
- Review calls daily and follow up on anything slipping through the cracks — accountability is key.
- Lead, coach, and train sales staff consistently; training and development are central to our success.
- Drive CRM and internet sales processes, ensuring effective follow-up on every lead.
- Work closely with the GM/Owner in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
- Intervene early on deals and help structure creative solutions to close more business.
- Micro Manage two way communications setting up sales future tasks and closing them within 72 Hours
- Enforce and hold accoutability to company processes
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in automotive sales management (Kia or Import brand a plus).
- Strong F&I skills with a track record of maximizing profitability.
- Hands-on leadership style — you’re in the mix, not just behind a desk.
- A proactive mindset — you drive business, not wait for it.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for developing people through training.
- Familiarity with CRM, internet sales, and digital platforms (Tekion experience preferred).

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
- Utilize outside sales techniques to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct negotiations with customers to close deals effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sale follow-up.
- Manage inventory control and ensure accurate representation of available vehicles.
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions and manage sales activities.
- Perform cold calling and outbound sales efforts to reach potential clients.
- Upsell additional products and services that enhance the customer experience.
- Deliver presentations on vehicle features and benefits, demonstrating strong public speaking skills.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop marketing strategies that drive traffic to the dealership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automobile sales or dealership experience preferred.
- Strong background in B2B sales or high-end sales environments is advantageous.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Proficiency in CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales data.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers; bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and control.
- Familiarity with retail math and basic mathematical concepts related to sales transactions.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with clients over the phone.
