Automotive Sales Manager- Mid-Ohio
Up to $100,000+ Based on Experience
A well-established automotive dealership in the Mid-Ohio area is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee vehicle operations.
This is an opportunity for a proven leader with minimum of 3 to 5 years of franchise dealership management experience.

Position Overview:
The Sales Manager is responsible for customer retention, profitability, and overall performance of the new and used vehicle departments. This role requires effective personnel management, strong knowledge of market potential, established performance standards, and a clear understanding of departmental break-even data.
Responsibilities:
· Hire, train, supervise, and monitor performance of vehicle sales staff
· Establish annual and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit
· Participate in preparation of the annual dealership forecast by projecting unit sales, gross profit, expenses, and operating profit
· Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and sales systems
· Utilize CRM and DMS systems effectively
· Work with the General Manager to determine appropriate days’ supply and manage vehicle ordering and inventory acquisition
· Establish standards for displaying, merchandising, and maintaining inventory
· Implement procedures for timely disposal of overaged units
· Study local market conditions, demographics, and sales history
· Make recommendations regarding advertising plans, promotions, staffing, lease programs, and compensation plans
· Address customer concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction
· Maintain facility standards so the dealership remains secure, well-lit, and professional in appearance
· Attend meetings as requested
· Additional duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
· 3–5 years of automotive dealership management experience required
· Franchise dealership experience required
· Strong leadership and performance management skills
· Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and profitability targets
· Strong understanding of dealership financials and break-even analysis
· Must work scheduled hours as assigned
· Valid driver’s license meeting dealership insurability requirements
· Must present a professional, clean, and polished appearance consistent with dealership standards
