Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth across multiple channels. Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets through effective coaching and performance management.
- Develop comprehensive sales strategies to expand market share, focusing on high-end sales and upselling opportunities.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by prospecting new clients via outbound calls, cold calling, and networking events.
- Negotiate complex deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining profitability.
- Oversee inventory management and inventory control processes to align with sales objectives and customer demand.
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage leads, forecast sales performance, and generate reports for senior management.
- Cultivate strong relationships with dealership partners, B2B clients, and key stakeholders through excellent communication skills and public speaking engagements.
- Implement marketing initiatives to support sales efforts and enhance brand visibility in target markets.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to review progress, share best practices, and motivate the team toward continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards across all sales activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales management within the automobile or high-end retail industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing large deals in B2B or B2C environments.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse client bases effectively.
- Demonstrated success in managing a sales pipeline using CRM software tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in dealership operations, inventory management, and inventory control is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills including public speaking, phone etiquette, and customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of automotive sales processes or retail math is advantageous.
- Ability to perform outbound sales activities such as cold calling while supporting inbound inquiries professionally.
- Strong organizational skills complemented by proficiency in marketing strategies and retail math calculations.
