General Manager – Powersports Dealership (Texas)
A growth-oriented Texas powersports dealership is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead overall store operations and drive performance across sales, F&I, service, and parts.
This role requires a hands-on leader with strong business acumen, a passion for developing teams, and a proven ability to execute disciplined processes while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Qualifications
● 3+ years prior General Manager experience in powersports, automotive, or recreational vehicle sales is required
● Powersports sales management experience is required.
● Strong understanding of dealership financials, inventory turns, and margin management
● Proven ability to lead through accountability, coaching, and structure
● Experience operating in a performance-driven, metric-focused environment
● High integrity, professionalism, and strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities
● Lead all dealership operations with full P&L responsibility
● Drive new and pre-owned sales performance and profitability to include pre-owned acquisition strategies
● Implement and enforce best practices in sales process, inventory management, and pricing strategy
● Recruit, train, coach, and retain high-performing department leaders
● Partner with ownership on strategic initiatives and growth plans
● Ensure compliance with OEM, state, and company policies
● Analyze KPIs and financial statements to identify opportunities and corrective actions
