We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and professionally as they arrive for service appointments or walk-in inquiries
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues using detailed service writing skills
- Provide clear explanations of necessary repairs and maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
- Prepare accurate auto estimates and work with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Coordinate with mechanics and service technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure quality workmanship
- Follow up with customers post-service to confirm satisfaction and promote ongoing vehicle maintenance plans
Experience
- Proven dealership experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive service management role
- Strong background in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Experience with auto estimating software and service writing processes
- Knowledge of automotive repair specialties such as transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, alignment, suspension systems, tire service, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair
