We are currently seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our team and continue our tradition of excellence.
Position Overview
The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the dealership’s front-end departments, including Sales, Finance & Insurance (F&I), and Business Development. This role requires a hands-on leader who has worked across multiple areas of dealership operations and understands how each department contributes to overall profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all front-end dealership operations including Sales, F&I, and BDC
- Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and staff
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining strong gross margins and expense control
- Monitor and improve dealership KPIs including volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with Volkswagen brand standards and manufacturer programs
- Utilize the Reynolds & Reynolds DMS to manage reporting, operational efficiency, and performance metrics
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and customer retention
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- 5+ years of automotive dealership management experience
- Experience working in multiple dealership roles (Sales, F&I, Desk, BDC, or GSM level)
- Experience using the Reynolds & Reynolds dealership management system
- Proven track record of increasing sales volume, profitability, and team performance
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze financial statements and dealership performance metrics

Pay: $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
