About the Role
TEAM is currently seeking a Paint Shop Supervisor for our Fort Valley, GA location. The Supervisor is accountable for the overall safety, security, efficiency, and cost-effective management of their team. The ideal candidate will lead by example, using their coaching skills to develop a culture of trust by inspiring, challenging and promoting the workforce while meeting corporate goals and customer business needs.

Schedule
- Days with 2 night shifts per week, must be available on weekends and have flexibility with shifts
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Cleaning Management
- Oversee daily cleaning operations for paint shop systems and surrounding production areas according to established task sheets and schedules.
- Coordinate cleaning activities with production and maintenance teams to minimize operational disruption.
- Monitor and support spray booth performance, including booth water management and robot cover installation.
- Ensure proper protection of equipment and adjacent areas during cleaning activities.
- Manage bailer operations and protective component coatings as required.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce all company safety policies including proper use of PPE.
- Implement and maintain safety programs such as confined space entry and lockout/tagout.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of paint sludge and debris in accordance with
- Georgia state and federal regulations.
- Conduct routine safety and quality inspections to maintain compliance and operational standards.
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and develop up to 12 team members.
- Assign daily tasks and ensure balanced workload distribution.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to promote accountability and operational excellence.
- Support cross-training initiatives and ensure proper onboarding for new hires.
Inventory & Equipment Management
- Maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies in organized working condition.
- Manage inventory including filters and cleaning materials.
- Coordinate ordering and distribution of supplies to support uninterrupted operations.
- Reporting & Customer Communication
- Provide weekly reports to the Program Manager summarizing completed work and upcoming activities.
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
- Communicate with the customer regarding service requests, operational updates, and performance expectations.
- Support customer KPI targets for safety, quality, and operational performance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in industrial cleaning within manufacturing or paint shop environments.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning processes, equipment, and best practices.
- Familiarity with safety programs including confined space entry and lockout/tagout.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Flexible scheduling to support production requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with paint shop cleaning and maintenance.
- Knowledge of foreign material analysis.
