Role Description

The Marine Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department. This role ensures timely and high-quality maintenance, repair, and installation services on customer and company vessels while leading a team of technicians and coordinating with parts, sales, and customer service departments. You will also be responsible for the success of the service department by meeting and exceeding sales targets and managing budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and schedule marine technicians and service staff
Manage service workflow from intake to completion, ensuring timely delivery
Provide accurate estimates and repair orders to customers
Maintain customer satisfaction through strong communication and service quality
Order and manage inventory of marine parts and supplies
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations
Oversee diagnostics, repair quality, and warranty claims
Develop and monitor service department KPIs (labor hours, revenue, efficiency)
Collaborate with sales, operations, and marina teams as needed

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a service manager, service advisor, service writer, or customer service manager in the marine industry
Strong understanding of marine systems; electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc
Experience with service management software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and continue to deliver the highest level of customer service

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
