We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor / Store Manager to join our growing team. This hybrid role requires strong mechanical knowledge, outstanding customer service, and proven leadership in running day-to-day shop operations. You will be the primary point of contact for customers while also overseeing store performance, workflow efficiency, and team success.
Responsibilities
Service Advisor Duties:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, identifying and addressing their automotive service needs.
- Conduct or coordinate thorough vehicle inspections to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate services.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair options, timelines, and costs.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns.
- Stay current on automotive technology, repair techniques, and service best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive service, advising, or shop management.
- Strong mechanical knowledge in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with tire service procedures and shop equipment.
- Strong leadership skills and prior experience managing a team.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information for customers.
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and shop management software.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and commitment to customer service excellence.
