We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team in a fast-paced automotive environment. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their service needs are met while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and technicians.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assess their service needs, providing accurate information regarding services offered.
Utilize automotive diagnostics skills to identify issues and recommend appropriate services.
Prepare detailed service estimates and communicate them clearly to customers.
Upsell additional services and products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and follow-up communications.
Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout the service process.
Stay updated on industry trends, dealership promotions, and new products or services.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of automotive systems, including diesel engine repair.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience in automotive sales and upselling techniques is a plus.
Proficiency in service writing and documentation practices.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
