Who We’re Looking For
- Proven General Sales Manager or Sales Manager with 2+ years of dealership experience (Kia/FCA background is a plus).
- Strong leadership skills: you’ll coach, mentor, and hold our sales team accountable to monthly targets.
- Data‑driven mindset: adept at analyzing key metrics (front‑line gross per vehicle, closing ratios, front‑end gross, etc.) and implementing corrective action plans.
- Excellent communicator: you’ll conduct sales‑team meetings, handle escalated customer issues, and maintain close collaboration with F&I, service, and marketing.
- Familiar with CRM systems (ELeads) and comfortable using digital platforms to track leads and monitor performance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & Motivate the Sales Team
- Establish clear monthly goals for each sales representative and hold regular one‑on‑one coaching sessions to track progress.
- Drive a culture of accountability through weekly sales huddles, daily performance reviews, and real‑time leaderboards.
- Collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard, and train new sales associates—ensuring every team member meets our standards.
- Optimize Dealership Performance
- Analyze daily and monthly sales metrics (gross profit, unit sales, closing ratios) and present actionable insights to the General Manager.
- Oversee showroom operations, ensuring consistent presentation of inventory, effective lot management, and timely pricing adjustments.
- Implement digital‑lead follow‑up processes, ensuring 90%+ lead response rate within 15 minutes.
- Enhance Customer Experience
- Handle escalated customer concerns—turning challenges into positive experiences that generate repeat business.
- Partner with F&I to monitor finance penetration and drive accessory and protection‑product sales, improving overall deal profitability.
- Collaborate Across Departments
- Coordinate with Service to create service‑to‑sales referrals, loyalty programs, and customer‑retention initiatives.
- Report directly to the General Manager, providing weekly performance recaps, headcount plans, and budget forecasts.
